Iditarod 2007 has ended!

Ellen Halvorson pulled into Nome to receive the Red Lantern and Donald Smidt from Wisconsin, with his purebred Siberians pulled in ahead of her a bit.

The 35th Iditarod has ended, 18 days after it's Start in downtown Anchorage. That is a long time to be out in the wilderness of Alaska on a dog sled.

Congratulations to all of the teams! Until next year, then....

Aliy into Nome! 10:57 AM !! Allen out of Elim!!

Well , it's coming to an end , and I'll bet Aliy and Allen are glad of that!! Aliy is into Nome with her great dogs, and Allen is on his way with his.... congratulations to both and to all of the mushers and dogs of the 35th Iditarod, 2007!!
